ABOUT US
THE CLINIC
The London Vet Behaviour Clinic was born in 2019 after our leading vet Charlie discovered many clients were frustrated by the limited number of veterinary clinical behaviourist in the field in South London and Greater London. At The London Vet Behaviour Clinic, we understand how challenging it can be when your beloved pet exhibits behavioural issues. We want you to know that you are not alone – we are here to help you and your pet every step of the way.
At the LVBC we provide a compassionate, science-based approach to understanding and addressing your pet’s behavioural challenges. Our team works closely with you and your GP vet to ensure your pet receives the best possible care.
Consultations are conducted within your home or are done virtually. We cover Central London and less than 1 hour of SE1 4HH.
We do not recommend or support using any forms of aversive training or punishment that could cause stress or harm to your pet.
OUR HUMAN CENTRIC APPROACH
When your pet is struggling, it rarely affects just them. Behaviour challenges cause stress to your pet and you (impact routines, relationships, confidence, and mental wellbeing at home).
Research into owners living with their pets with behaviour problems shows significant emotional strain and caregiver burden(ScienceDirect).
That’s why LVBC’s approach supports:
Your pet’s behaviour (what they do)
Your pet’s emotional state (how they feel)
Your pet’s health (assessing for medical factors that may contribute)
Your ability to cope (thorough our partnered therapist)
TYPES OF CASES WE SEE
Dogs: aggression towards people or other animals, anxiety, separation related problems, noise fears, inappropriate toileting, repetitive behaviours, fear of the vets amongst other issues
Cats: inappropriate toileting, aggression towards people or other pets, inter-cat aggression, compulsive behaviours amongst other issues
